Philippines Pesos

     The silver pesos of the Philippines stuck under United States administration
are the most under-rated series in the "Red Book".  

  A "salvage peso" is a "MUST HAVE" - a "common" coin with an UNCOMMON history.

    Struck at the Philadelphia & San Francisco mints with "United States of America"  in the legend, these are "American" coins.

    All dates are relatively affordable, though the 1906-S will be pricey in low grade - and AUTHENTICATION IS A MUST!!! - these are a prime target for counterfeiters.
The proof only issues are also somewhat pricey, but still within an average collector's means.

    It  is still possible to find nice uncirculated type coins for far less than other
       far more common  U.S. coins.
