WORLD CROWNS  (mostly) Saharawi Arab Republic through Switzerland (N.F.S)

    This collection started out with circulating (in most cases circulated) dollar size crowns. Probably the highlight of the original collection is the 1938 crown that my father brought
back when he was stationed in Australia in World War II.

    In my enthusiasm to expand the number of countries represented, I started accumulating  “noncirculating legal tender” pieces, and later fantasy pieces, to the point that no more than  60 of the 400+ pieces represented here could ever have circulated as money.

       If I had to do it over again, I would draw a line in the sand:   Only acquire pieces that have circulated, i.e. nothing higher than a grade of XF!!
